The North West ENT Careers Day on Saturday 20th May 2017 offers all senior medical students and foundation doctors a fantastic opportunity to discover more about a career within the speciality of ENT Surgery (otolaryngology).  The day will be held at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport and begin with a series of lectures covering topics including what is ENT, life at various stages of training, and reasons to consider a career in ENT.  Following the provided lunch, in the afternoon, delegates will get a hands-on experience in a number of various relevant ENT skills workshops.  There is no specific dress code for this event.  All candidates will be issued with a certificate of attendance once the feedback form has been completed.

The event has been organised by the SFO UK Regional Reps for the North West and Manchester in collaboration with University of Manchester's ENT Society, Scalpel - The University of Manchester's Surgical Society, and Surgical Scousers - The University of Liverpool's Surgical Society.  Founded in 2014, SFO UK (Student and Foundation Doctors in Otolaryngology) aims to increase the awareness of and foster interest in a career in ENT.  SFO UK is a sub-group of ENT UK, the professional membership body of ENT and its related specialties.
